The Leys Youth Hub is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Blackbird Leys, including a community kitchen, music studio, climbing wall and will be a one-stop-shop for accessing positive activities, advice and guidance for young people aged 11 – 18 (or up to 25 with Special Education Needs, disabilities and for care leavers).
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. You should have a qualification relevant to working with children and young people and have demonstrable experience in leading and running open access provision including working with disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.
We asked a group of young people what skills, experience and character they think the ideal candidate should have, they said the ideal worker should have a friendly, fun and happy personality and previous experience of working with children and young people.
