Details:
Location: Stockton (with travel across Teesside) *Access to a car is essential.
Hours: 22.5 hrs per week
Contract type and duration: Currently this will end in December 2026 (we have started the process to gain more funding to continue, however, this is not guaranteed)
Salary: £27,000 *FTE
(*FTE is ‘Full Time Equivalent’ Salary which is then subject to pro-rata for this 3 Day post)
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and proactive Youth Coach / Trainer to join our team and support 16–30-year-olds across Teesside on their journey of personal and professional development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Providing 1:1 coaching, training, information, advice, and guidance to young people aged 16-30
· Supporting wellbeing and personal growth
· Designing and delivering in-house training sessions 1-1 (or groups) for example, for up to 10 participants
· Helping young people explore pathways into education, employment, or self-development
· Promoting our services at networking events and online
· Managing your own caseload and calendar with confidence and care
Who We’re Looking For:
· A warm, personable approach and the ability to build trust quickly
· Experience in working with young people in a coaching, training, or mentoring capacity
· Confident communication and group facilitation skills
· A good understanding of social media and IT tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· A self-starter who can work independently and take initiative planning training and developing workshops / workbooks
· Someone who has ****access to a car**** and willingness to travel across Teesside (Stockton is your main base)
