Contract Type: Full-time, Term-Time Only
A Primary School are seeking a compassionate, confident, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child entering Year 6 in September who has Type 1 Diabetes.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has direct experience supporting children with Type 1 Diabetes in a school or care setting
- Is confident in monitoring and managing blood sugar levels and responding to the child’s medical needs
- Can build a trusting and sensitive relationship with a child who is emotionally aware and may need extra reassurance and understanding
- Has a nurturing approach and a calm, professional manner
- Is available for a trial day next week and able to attend essential training on 17th June 2025
