1:1 Teaching Assistant – Year 5 Student (Working at Year 2 Level) – Barnet NW4 – September Start
We are looking for a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 student with ASD in a primary school located in Barnet (NW4). This is a full-time position starting in September, continuing through the full academic year.
About the Role:
- 1:1 support for a Year 5 student with ASD
- The student is working at a Year 2/3 academic level
- Behaviour is settled and the student communicates well
- The focus is on delivering targeted academic support and helping the student access learning in a mainstream classroom
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience working with students with ASD
- Confident supporting KS1/lower KS2 curriculum
- Patient, calm, and adaptable in approach
- Able to build trust and offer consistent, structured support
Position Details:
- Full-time role from 09/03/2025 (September start)
- Location: Barnet NW4
- Daily rate: £90–£100 (depending on experience)
