Part-Time Yardman
Job Overview:
Threds Construction is looking for a reliable and hard-working Part-Time Yardman to join our team in Whitstable. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied work. You will support day-to-day operations across our yard and residential property, and assist with deliveries and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- General yard duties and upkeep
- Physical labour, including loading/unloading materials
- Light gardening and outdoor maintenance
- Delivering materials to construction sites as needed
- Basic maintenance at the yard and on-site residential property
- Assisting with odd jobs and tasks as required
Requirements:
- Must be 25+ (for insurance purposes)
- Must have a full UK driving license
- Physically fit
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Some basic maintenance or handyman experience is a bonus
