Dunn Bros is the South West’s newest commercial, plant & agricultural machinery Auction.
We are looking for a reliable Yard Operative to support the Yard Manager with all stock related tasks both pre and post auction. You will be fully immersed within the auction process – not only aiding in things run smoothly behind the scenes, but also reflecting the companies professional, friendly approach to business to site visitors, at all times. The role is very diverse and will require someone who can take direction, as well as being able to use their own initiative, and has excellent attention to detail.
The Role…
- Assisting the Manager with Auction set up i.e. lining up machinery, photographing, videoing etc.
- Assisting other staff with organising and preparing the yard for each sale
- Precise loading & unloading of machines
- General Yard Duties
What you will bring to the table…
This an outdoor job, requiring you to work in all weathers. You must be physically fit and able to climb safely on and off heavy machinery. Previous experience in a plant & heavy machinery environment would be beneficial. We want someone with a positive mindset and can-do attitude.
Must Haves
- A highly motivated person with good work ethics
- Strong English Skills
- Willingness to work overtime around auction periods
- UK Driving License
Desirable
- Machinery Knowledge
- Experience in a similar position
- Experience driving a Telehandler/ Forklift

Pay: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
