Responsibilities:
- Implementing ,Managing and maintaining the organization and tidiness of the Glasgow
facility including all Drilling Equipment and associated consumables.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment
- Manage inventory and identify stock shortage.
- Assist in the build, load, and unload of materials to & from Site.
- Be responsible for own time management and work to deadlines.
- Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment
- Recording of equipment transfer between regions / projects
- Delivery of equipment and / or samples between store/yard/site/laboratory
- Booking in and organised storage of samples received from sites
- Segregation of samples instructed for laboratory testing
- Disposal of soil and rock samples to yard skip
- Stock keeping and re-ordering of sampling and borehole installation consumables
- Undertaking of other site-based activities in support of projects
Skills:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labour
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (Microsoft )
- Experience working in a Yard environment
- Strong ability to build, load, and unload materials
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and materials handling equipment
