PH ActiveEd are an award-winning primary school PE and School Sports provider in the South-West. In addition to this, we also offer a high-quality school-based wraparound childcare service. We have an ambitious and innovative team with an exciting and aspiring vision for the future to be the best PE, school sports and wraparound childcare provider in the UK. Our aim is to deliver a high-quality, nurturing level of care whilst providing children with a fun and engaging experience. If you have a passion for childcare, are enthusiastic about supporting the growth and development of young people and are seeking a fun job role that allows you to express and share your creativity then we would love to hear from you.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Club Assistant to support our established wraparound care club at a small, welcoming village primary school. You’ll be working alongside the Club Lead to help deliver a safe, engaging and fun environment for children before and after school.
As we look to grow the club, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, values being part of a close-knit school community, and is keen to contribute to something positive and rewarding.
Your Role:
- Support the Club Lead with daily set-up and delivery of sessions
- Help create a warm, inclusive space where children feel safe and enjoy themselves
- Get involved in games, crafts, and activities that support social and emotional development
- Build positive relationships with children, school staff, and parents
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour policies
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children (paid or voluntary)
- A can-do attitude and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive
- Someone who’s dependable, approachable, and happy to muck in
- A relevant childcare/playwork qualification is helpful, but not essential – we’re happy to support the right person with training
- Paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding qualifications would be a bonus, but training can be provided.
