LOCATION: SALESFORCE BLUEFIN BUILDING, London
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week
PAY RATE: £16.31 per hour
Role Overview:
As a Working Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering top-tier cleaning services while actively participating in daily cleaning tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining office spaces and other client areas, including but not limited to glass surfaces, walls, hard floors, carpets, ceilings, upholstery, and washrooms. This role requires a proactive approach, adaptability to different shifts (including weekdays and weekends as needed), and the ability to respond to client requests across multiple buildings.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Train and onboard new cleaning staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
- Manage and maintain cleaning schedules and assignments
- Provide guidance and support to cleaning staff, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure staff compliance
- Perform floor cleaning once per week or as required, including carpets and hard floors during the shift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry, preferably within a blue-chip company
- Strong knowledge of office cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleaning standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
