Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machining tools and equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured components. The Machinist will work with a variety of materials, including plastics, and will be responsible for producing parts that meet strict specifications.
Duties
- Operate milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment to fabricate components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models, ensuring accurate production.
- Assemble components using both power tools and hand tools, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the machining process.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power and hand tools effectively.
- Experience with tooling and assembly processes is beneficial.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
