Your responsibilities will include:
- The machining of components for machinery and automation projects.
- Programming, setting and the operating as required of CNC and manual mills and lathes.

- Producing high quality components to tight tolerances in a commercial timeframe.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- The ability to use a range of engineering metrology instruments ensuring quality standards and tolerances are self-approved.
- Working with minimal supervision.
- Experience of other machine shop processes like surface grinding would be beneficial to your role within the company but not essential.
- Assisting other departments in the design/modification of components for projects to meet customer demands, this may be sometimes a matter of urgency.
- Keeping the work area clean, safe and tidy and general self-maintenance procedures.
- Having the flexibility to work overtime if required by the business.
You will be:
- An experienced/time served turner/machinist
- Passionate and driven, with the desire to produce and deliver completed components and/or projects to a high standard.
- A team player with the ability to easily work with others and mentor more junior members of the team if asked of you.
