Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Wire Man to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical knowledge, as well as proficiency with both hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical components according to specifications and schematics.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Work with surface mount technology (SMT) to ensure precise assembly of electronic devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical assembly or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand complex wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship at all times.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
