WINTER SUPPORT ASSISTANT

THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive, organised and reliable Winter Support Assistant to join our Operations Department on a temporary basis on a fixed term zero hour contract for the duration of the winter period, from October to March.
The successful candidates responsibilities will include:
- Conducting shift checks to ensure all operators start their shifts on time.
- Managing operational tracking to confirm that operators are on-site.
- Communicating with teams via phone/email to ensure all queries are addressed promptly.
- Answering calls from operators via 3CX to log any issues related to site access or vehicle breakdowns.
- Liaising with internal staff, including Service Delivery Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and the Regional Director.
- Ensuring all company systems (e.g., Pulse & Nimbus) are used effectively and appropriately in compliance with GDPR.
- Generating nightly reports to the line manager.
- Being flexible and complying with any reasonable requests made by your line manager.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in the role, you are to possess the below knowledge and skills.
Essential:
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations/sites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Computer literate with all Microsoft package applications.
Desirable:
- Experience with CRM, Excel, and other manageable systems.
- Experience in working with the public sector, but not necessary.
