Wellbeing Partner
Location: The Seaton Nursing Home, Devon, UK
Hours: 16–36 hours per week (including some weekends)
Care Home Size: 28 beds – small, friendly, Outstanding-rated home
Starting Salary : £12.50 per hour
We are a small, welcoming, and Outstanding-rated care home looking for a creative, caring, and enthusiastic Wellbeing Partner to join our team. Working closely with our Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll help bring fun, companionship, and meaningful engagement into our residents’ daily lives.
Main duties:
- Support the planning and delivery of a varied programme of activities such as arts and crafts, baking, games, music, and trips out.
- Encourage residents to join in activities suited to their interests and abilities, helping everyone feel included and valued.
- Build warm, supportive relationships with residents, bringing energy and positivity to each day.
- Assist with setting up, running, and tidying away activities.
- Be flexible and proactive, adapting activities to meet the needs of the group or individual.
About you:
- Friendly, patient, and positive nature, with a genuine interest in older people.
- Creative and willing to try new ideas to keep activities fresh and engaging.
- Confident engaging with individuals and small groups.
- Reliable and able to work some weekends.
- Experience in a care, activities, or community setting is welcome – but full training will be given.
