As a Well-being Enabler you will be required to have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage your own time and organising your own work appropriately. Also excellent IT skills are desirable.
You must be a team player.
You must have a friendly and confident outlook with a genuine interest in working with the residents, families and staff to promote outcome focused support.

- Possess the ability to adjust and tailor activities to suit the residents choices and requirements.
- Be aware that the activities you will provide must cater for various tastes, abilities and ages.

- Organise fund raising, events and outings.
- Help to create a positive atmosphere within the home.
- Plan a detailed and varied weekly activity timetable & produce and plan annual events overview (entertainment).
- Record the participation and interaction of all residents (electronically).
- Chair meetings with service users and family members.
- Provide a newsletter.
- Will be required to complete company training.
- Will contribute to a safe and healthy working environment
- Support residents to appointments and be confident to feedback information to care staff
- Assist with mealtimes and ensure that this a positive and enjoyable experience
About The Role
Experience in working in this role is desired however is not compulsory.
If selected for interview you will be required to give a short presentation. This presentation would consist of an activity that you would carry out, how this would be planned and how you would then know if this was a positive experience for the residents of Florence House.
