About the role….
Gateshead Council is seeking to appoint a number of Refuse and Recycling Operatives to join the Waste Services team. The role involves undertaking refuse and recycling collections labourer across the borough of Gateshead.
This is a four day service working Tuesday to Friday 7:30 – 17:15.

You must have…
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills in line with the requirement of the role.
- Good physical fitness
- Experience of working in a customer focused service.
- Experience of working in an operational environment.
- Experience of refuse and recycling services.
- Demonstrable experience of being committed and passionate about service delivery.
- Demonstrable experience of flexibility adaptiveness to work.
