Summary
We are seeking a dedicated PART-TIME Forklift / Warehouse Worker to join our team at Olivers Babycare. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities, including loading and unloading shipments including containers, quality control, and inventory management. Located in a vibrant environment, you will play an essential part in delivering excellent service to our customers. Hours are 2-3 full days or 3 part days.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Assist shipping and receiving processes to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for timely dispatch.
- Organize stock within the warehouse for optimal space utilization.
- Operate forklift safely and drive company van when necessary
- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during storage and transport.
Requirements
- Previous Forklift experience in a warehouse setting is required.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control tasks.
- Ability to organise warehouse space safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with computerised stock management systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
