We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role is based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Level 1
- Require PPT license
- Picking
- Unload and load trailers
- Area hygiene and associated paperwork
- Check and report any damage
- Out of temperature product movements
- Loading orders & securing and completing paperwork
- Pallet product movements
- Battery & MHE checks
- Yard gritting & check sheets
- Allergens handling / door management
- Bailer operation
- Ensuring all pallets are labelled
- Heated container & temperature
Level 2 (supplementary to duties outlined for L1)
- Assign & print picks
- Require all licences
- Pallet space calculation and communication to trading support
- Create load plans
- Hold and release procedures
- Yard cover gritting & check sheets
- Put aways
- Save load paperwork (In and Outbound)
- Communicated error picks with Customer Support
- Checks of inbounds/stock transfers & paperwork
- Take charge of an area
- Driver communications
- Outbound loading and checks
Level 3 (supplementary to duties outlined for L1 & L2)
- Shift cover/Run a section
- Packaging cover
- CFSP process
- Shift checklist handover in absence of shift manager
- Lock up of site
- Converse with hauliers
- Depick pallets
- Returns process
- Booking in product against ETA
- Credit notes
- ASN and manifest completion
- Assist with training of L1 & L2 operatives
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must have a good understanding of English language both spoken and written.
- Good attention to detail and be able to prioritise in accordance with company needs
- Be a good team player but work alone when required.
- Good computer skills
- Holding a PPT/Forklift licence would be an advantage, but training will be given.
- Experience with Prophet would be an advantage.
- Be prepared to work in a chilled environment
- The flexible in relation to the role and hours worked
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.62 per hour
