Join a Multi-Award-Winning, Family-Owned Business
NWCE Foodservice Equipment is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at our Bolton head office. As a family-owned company with a proven track record for quality and reliability, we’re proud of our multiple industry awards—and even prouder of the people who make it all possible. If you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a business that truly values its staff, this could be the opportunity for you.
About the Role
As our Warehouse Assistant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll help with receiving, storing, and dispatching goods for commercial kitchen and bar projects across the UK. The job involves working closely with our logistics, projects, and engineering teams to make sure orders are accurate and on time. You’ll report to our Warehouse Supervisor, who’ll support you every step of the way.
What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is ideal, but we’re open to strong candidates from other backgrounds.
· Good computer skills—you’ll need to use our systems to log deliveries, track stock, and update records.
· A full UK driving licence is essential, as you may be asked to help with deliveries or collections.
· Forklift licence is a definite advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.
· Someone who is organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
· A team player who enjoys working with others and takes pride in their work.
· Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
