Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tiler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of tiles in residential settings. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Tile Setter will ensure that all installations meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
Duties
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using hand tools and power tools.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, smoothing, or applying adhesives as necessary.
- Lay out tiles according to design specifications and patterns, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Apply grout and sealants to finished tile work, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed, maintaining the overall integrity of the installation.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and painters, to ensure cohesive project completion.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to tile setting.
- Strong understanding of building materials and construction techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Experience in carpentry is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE and get to sites yourself and have your own TOOLS
- Travel will be Essential as project will be all around the Surrey AREA.

Must be able to drive and get to sites!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £180.00-£220.00 per day
