Hours:
- This key role works 18.5 hours per week
- 2 days on / 6 days off
Working Pattern:
- 10.00pm - 8.00am (Monday to Friday)
- 8.00 pm - 8.00 am (Saturday and Sunday)
- Rota is based upon a rolling shift pattern.
Role Responsibility.
Working to a structured night shift pattern you will ensure the welfare, safety, and security of our YMCA residents overnight whilst making regular security checks to ensure buildings are secure, noise and disruptions are kept to a minimum, and common areas and fire exits are kept free from obstructions.
You will have the skills to manage safe evacuation of the site as and when required, whilst controlling all out of hours access for both residents and contractors through consistent monitoring of the CCTV systems across various sites. In addition, you will provide informal support to residents if needed and provide robust handovers of appropriate information to relevant day shift team members.
As there may be times when you will be faced with challenging behaviours, experience in a similar role would be advantageous, and as this post requires members of the team to work to core rota a degree of flexibility is essential.
If you feel you have the skills to become a key member of our supportive and inclusive Team, we would love to hear from you.
Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS is required, and provided by YMCA Humber, and the role will be based upon a night shift rota including some weekends and bank holidays.
