What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide overnight supervision and support, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care.
- Monitor care plans and risk assessments, contributing to their review and implementation.
- Maintain a calm and reassuring presence for young people throughout the night.
- Ensure the home remains clean, tidy, and well-maintained, following the cleaning rota.
- Keep detailed and accurate records, ensuring high professional standards in line with Ofsted expectations.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support if needed.
- Work collaboratively with day staff to ensure seamless handovers and consistent care.
- Be flexible to provide support in other homes when required.

What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or willingness to complete).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations.
- Ability to work on-site at one of our homes in Sandwell, West Midlands.
- Flexibility to work a 4-on-4-off night shift pattern.
