Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, using your knowledge of the menu to assist guests with their selections.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables efficiently.
- Upsell menu items where appropriate to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction is achieved.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating basic culinary skills when required.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment.
- Basic math skills are necessary for processing orders accurately and handling payments.
- Experience in serving or kitchen roles is advantageous, as well as any culinary training or experience.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike.

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
