Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as required, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
- Handle payments accurately and process transactions in accordance with restaurant policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and making change.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Team player mentality with a desire to help colleagues when needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
