Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting On/Bar Staff to join our friendly team. As a key member of staff you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your role will involve not only serving food and drinks but also engaging with customers to enhance their experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Waitressing duties, taking food orders, delivering food, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant areas at all times, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively during shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Team player, ability to adapt to an existing successful team.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Previous bar experience is an advantage.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Ability to work under pressure.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Pay: £12.21-£14.42 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
