Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as waiting staff. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services in a lively and friendly pizzeria environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that guests have a delightful dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to their needs throughout their visit.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables and dining areas throughout service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
- Provide assistance to guests, answering questions about the menu and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle payments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly demeanour and a passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
