Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch hospitality. A passion for food and an understanding of food safety practices are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring that all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are presented beautifully and meet the establishment's standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meals.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service in various settings.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with guests and team members.
- Bartending skills would be beneficial for serving drinks efficiently when required.
