As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and serving
- Assist in kitchen duties as needed, including basic food preparation tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with an understanding of serving etiquette
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests
