Job Summary

Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and culinary delights.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain an organised dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn about food preparation techniques and culinary offerings is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
