Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service and ensuring that all dining needs are met. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience through effective upselling techniques.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing procedures are followed.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality is a must.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong culinary skills to assist in basic kitchen tasks when required.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and processing transactions efficiently.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diners.
- Proven upselling abilities to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
