Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a must.
- Familiarity with basic maths for handling transactions is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- A passion for culinary arts and providing excellent customer service is essential.
- Need to work every weekend as well as flexibility for in the week shifts.
