We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic waiter/waitress to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Assist with hosting duties as needed, ensuring smooth guest flow during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Experience in the food industry, including fine dining experience preferred.
- Friendly personality, fun loving, customer focused with attention to details.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, including serving, bussing, or host/host roles.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
