The Reform Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious Private Members’ clubs in London, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (25 hours per week, from 6 pm to 11 pm, Monday to Friday) server to join this historic and iconic organisation.

The Role
The servers provide food and beverage service in the Club's dining areas, including the Coffee Room, Strangers Room, Saloon, Hansard Bars, Gallery, and Garden. They are part of the hospitality team focused on delivering excellent service to Members and their guests. This part-time position requires evening shifts from 6 pm to 11 pm, 30 hours per week, for dinner service, with opportunities for extra hours to cover for colleagues and assist with private events that occur 7 days a week.
Requirements for the role:
To succeed, you’ll need to be able to work seamlessly with a range of other departments as well as your colleagues, and communicate effectively with Members, so teamwork and a fluent level of English are key. This is a role that involves a lot of time on your feet and may involve carrying heavy trays or pushing a heavy trolley (of desserts or cheese), so would be best suited to someone physically fit and reasonably strong. Ideally, you will also have:
- Excellent communication skills and a good level of spoken and written English.
- A positive, friendly and helpful attitude and demeanour
- The ability and desire to provide exceptionally high levels of customer service to create exceptional experiences.
- Excellent grooming and presentation standards.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Previous experience in a similar position and organisation.
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
