POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Waiter at Richoux,you are the curator of the guest experience — delivering relaxed,confident,and polished service that captures the character of a modern grand café. You will guide guests through the menu,offer personal recommendations,and anticipate needs without intrusion.
This role is suited to someone with poise,pace,and a passion for creating memorable moments — whether it’s the first coffee of the day,a celebratory brunch,or a pre,theatre dinner. You are a calm presence and a brand ambassador,blending French flair with British charm.
GUEST EXPERIENCE:
- Deliver a seamless guest journey with clarity,care,and confidence.
- Offer personalised recommendations for patisserie,dishes,and drinks.
- Anticipate needs and adapt your approach based on guest energy and occasion.
- Handle dietary requests,complaints,and special moments with discretion and professionalism.
OPERATIONS:
- Communicate clearly across FOH,bar,kitchen,and host teams.
- Participate actively in pre,service briefings and handovers.
- Support and guide junior team members with knowledge and energy.
- Help maintain a calm,composed pace during service — even when it’s busy.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
- Take accurate orders,handle bills,and process payments with efficiency.
- Drive spend per head through subtle upselling of specials,drinks,and add,ons.
- Ensure all transactions,comps,and voids are handled to policy and standard.
- Help manage time on tables to maximise cover turnover while maintaining experience.
BRAND GUARDIANSHIP:
- Uphold Richoux’s uniform,tone,and guest interaction style.
- Present dishes and drinks to brand visual and verbal standards.
- Share product knowledge — including patisserie stories and menu inspiration — with clarity.
- Maintain your section with elegance,order,and brand pride throughout the shift.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a premium restaurant,café,or hotel.
- Strong communication and guest empathy skills.
- Calm,composed,and polished presence.
- Professional appearance and punctuality.
- Weekend and evening availability.
