Why we want you: We impart skills and knowledge to help people prepare for crises and deal with them. To support even more people, we require the help of our volunteers who know their local communities. Together, we can help enable positive outcomes for people impacted by adversity. This is a wonderful opportunity to act on our shared values as a representative of the British Red Cross in your local community and play your part in helping build the next generation of humanitarians. - Tasks: Facilitate face-to-face or online workshops to groups of young people or adults, on a range of humanitarian topics to help strengthen your community.
Help promote our work within your community so that more people may benefit from our education offer.
- Skills: Passionate about exploring humanitarian issues and values.
Believe in the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Responsible, organised, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision.
Ideally, you will have a reasonable level of IT literacy, and have access to suitable IT equipment and internet connection. (There is no expectation to deliver both face-to-face and digital workshops. You may choose either or both.)
