Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Vehicle Valeter to join our team in Rochester. The role involves cleaning, washing, and preparing our cars and vans to the highest standards, ensuring they are ready for customer use. This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in vehicle cleaning and detailing, who takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, vacuum, mop, and polish vehicles (inside and out) using both manual methods and machine polishers.
- Use vax and other cleaning equipment to maintain a high finish.
- Ensure vehicles are fully prepared and presentable for customers.
- Check fluid levels (oil, screenwash, etc.) and top up when required.
- Report any vehicle damage, defects, or issues to management.
- Assist with moving vehicles around the site when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the valeting area and equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in valeting, vehicle detailing, or a similar role is essential.
- Must be able to confidently use a mop, machine polisher, and vax equipment.
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Hardworking, reliable, and punctual.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
Salary & Benefits:
- £25,000 – £35,000 per year (depending on experience and skills).
