Are you passionate about logistics, fleet sourcing, and operations? We're looking for a dynamic Transport Executive to manage FTL operations, focusing on vehicle sourcing, route optimization, and vendor coordination for steel movement in the Mumbai–Pune region.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and onboard fleet vendors, transporters, and brokers.
Negotiate competitive FTL contracts and reduce empty kms.
Build dedicated vehicle supply for local operations.
Coordinate closely with logistics, plant heads, and dispatch teams.
Manage dispatch, vehicle tracking, POD, and TMS operations.
Optimize vehicle usage, route efficiency, and freight costs.
Drive compliance, safety, and incident management protocols.
Conduct monthly/quarterly performance reviews and propose improvements.
You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant field experience.
3–5 years in transport/FTL operations (steel movement preferred).
Strong vendor negotiation and fleet sourcing capabilities.
Knowledge of transport tech: TMS, GPS, tracking apps.
Fluency in English + Hindi/Marathi/Malayalam/Gujarati.
