Join Our Team at MBR as a Bodyshop Prepper!
Are you an experienced Bodyshop Technician/Painter looking for a new challenge? MBR, is a family-run business with a reputation for excellence, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our successful bodyshop Department at our Birmingham site.
Role Overview:
As a Bodyshop Prepper, you will play a key role in our team, ensuring that our vehicles are prepped to the highest standards. A full, clean UK driving licence and prior experience in a similar role are essential.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the prepping of the vehicle prior to paint work.
- Check that the vehicle has been masked and sheeted correctly.
- As a paint prepper you will carry out repair to Manufactures specification.
- Ensure the necessary methods have been followed for each repair.
- Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, workshop controller to ensure all work is conducted to manufacturer specifications.
- Adhere to company policies guidelines and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between job sites.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
