Job Summary
We are looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will prepare comprehensive repair estimates for insurance companies and clients, ensuring repairs are carried out efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Create precise manual and digital repair estimates aligned with insurance and client requirements.
- Order vehicle parts accurately and promptly, ensuring timely delivery to meet repair deadlines. Manage returns for incorrect or excess items.
- Verify the authenticity of parts—OEM, aftermarket, or used—and properly catalog and store them for future use.
- Keep detailed records of all estimates, clearly indicating items awaiting approval.
- Prevent unauthorized repairs from starting and follow up on pending estimates with appropriate explanations.
- Work with body shop staff after approval to clarify the scope of work or determine if the vehicle is a total loss.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations applicable to your role and environment.
Compensation Details
This position offers an OTE of up to £48,950, which includes a site bonus, depending on experience and qualifications. Salary discussions will be held during the interview process.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

- Strong mechanical knowledge for accurate vehicle damage assessment
- Excellent customer service skills for effective client communication
- Experience in upselling vehicle repair services and related products
- Proficiency in cash handling and financial transactions
- Clear communication skills with the ability to produce detailed assessments
- Relevant certifications in vehicle damage assessment or related fields are advantageous
