Vehicle Damage Assessor

Job Overview
We are seeking a proficient Vehicle Damage Assessor to become a part of our team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating accurate repair estimates for insurance providers and individual clients, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and within budget limits.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop precise repair estimates by utilizing manual methods and digital tools to meet the needs of insurers and clients.
• Quickly order necessary vehicle parts, monitor their delivery, and address any issues related to incorrect or surplus parts.
• Confirm the origin of parts (OEM, aftermarket, or used) before documentation and storage.
• Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, including items awaiting approval.
• Initiate repairs only with proper authorization, following up on approvals through effective communication channels.
• Work closely with workshop personnel after approval to clarify repair details or evaluate write-off cases.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies within the workplace.

Compensation
Up to £48,950 OTE, including a site-based bonus (based on experience and qualifications). Specific salary details will be discussed during the interview.

Working Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
