We are looking for a van driver for our busy summer period during the next two months. The deliveries and collections are generally to our clients in Cambridge & Bury St Edmunds.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo from the van
- Drive designated routes to deliver goods to customers
- Follow delivery schedules and maintain timely deliveries
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: £12.41 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Saffron Walden: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
