We are looking for an experienced and proactive drivers to join our team at James Wilby and help us provide an exceptional level of service to our customers and fellow depots within the pallet network or other RHA members who we work closely with across the region.

The reward:
Job Type: Full Time or Part Time
Pay: £12.25 - £13.50 per hour
Based upon a 40 hour week excluding breaks £500 - £550 per week
Based upon a 40 hour week this is an annual salary of £26,000 to £28,600
Expected hours: We can be flexible! Anything from 16 – 50 hours per week.

Weekly Pay is Available however, certain benefits are not applicable as a result.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any issues or damages
- Safely and efficiently operate a curtain sided vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using pump truck equipment, tail lifts and secure loads appropriately
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, site health and safety rules
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Improving routes efficiently and safely when required
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of trucking regulations and safety protocols
- Experienced in using PDAs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record/CPC
- Proven experience as a multi drop driver
- Ability to handle various types of cargo and secure loads properly, navigating various road conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Experienced in load security and route planning
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)

- FLT Licence (required or expired)
