We are now recruiting for a Van Driver to join our team at Great Bear in Hoddesdon on a Full time and permanent position.
Shift: Monday-Friday 06:00am.
Salary: £27,214 per annum.
Job Description
- Delivering to stores in line with an agreed schedule.
- The role involves lifting, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
- Unlocking Customer store premises, unloading deliveries and locating stock into the designated area.
- Collection of returns stock.
- Securing stores and setting alarms on exit.
- Upholding and promoting Company Policies and Procedures.
- Carry out duties in a safe manner and comply with Health & Safety Regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous Commercial Van Driving experience of 12 months would be essential.
- A full clean driving licence and the ability to handle a 3.5 tonne van.
- An honest and trustworthy disposition is essential.
- The role involves lifting, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- The ability to work on own initiative with a strong work ethic.
- An organised and methodical approach to work, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
- Good timekeeping.
