Job Overview
We are looking for a Used Equipment Working Foreman to join the team at CLAAS Eastern Wilberfoss, who will manage the day-to-day process of the Used Machinery Centre (UMC) whilst working on the full range of Agricultural Machinery.
Main Duties:
- Provide high-level product support and defined processes to raise the standard and profile of used equipment.
- Support depots with Used equipment repairs to ensure they are rectified in a timely manner.
- Ensure all used equipment is appraised and costed prior to potential sale • Process work orders to ensure a 30day WIP is achieved.
- Ensure special Inspections and campaigns are fully up to date.
- Appraise all support machines to manage department costs.
- Support with the reporting of technical issues.
- Communicate with external contractors to ensure smooth flow of machines through the department.
- Coordinating loading and unloading activities whilst ensuring the correct paperwork is completed in a timely manner and traceability of machines is accurately recorded.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- A strong enthusiasm for Agricultural Engineering and Connect Machines • A self-motivated and a driven work ethic.
- Ability to problem solve.
- A valid, current UK Driving licence.
- Experience in a range of agricultural machinery operations.
- Excellent communication and good organisational skills.
- Good IT and literacy skills.
- Have a relevant qualification, or equivalent experience within the field of Land Based Engineering at Level 2+.
- Have excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Be willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills.
- Be willing to work overtime at peak periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£38,532.00 per year
