Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced UPVC fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UPVC fabrication, operate machinery, and assemble UPVC components accurately and efficiently. The UPVC fabricator will be responsible for producing high-quality UPVC windows, doors, and other products according to specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Operate UPVC fabrication machinery, such as cutting, welding, and milling equipment.
- Cut and assemble UPVC components to construct windows, doors, and other products.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of fabricated UPVC products, including measurements and assembly.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of UPVC fabrication machinery and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and targets.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding work progress and any issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UPVC fabricator or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of UPVC fabrication techniques and processes.
- Ability to operate UPVC fabrication machinery and tools effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and assembly.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to UPVC fabrication.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements and priorities.
Monday to Saturday
Between the hours of 8am - 6pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
