Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble upholstery for various furniture pieces
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and attach materials
- Measure and cut fabric to fit furniture frames
- Install padding, springs, and other materials to create comfortable seating
- Repair or replace damaged upholstery on furniture
- Collaborate with designers or customers to select appropriate fabrics and materials
- Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all upholstery work
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role
- Knowledge of different upholstery techniques and materials
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in upholstery work
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Note: Auto restoration experience is a plus but not required for this position.
