Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both user experience and user interface design, with a passion for creating engaging and intuitive digital products. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research to wireframing, prototyping, and final implementation. Your expertise in front-end development and familiarity with various design tools will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Duties
- Conduct user research to gather insights and understand user needs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, and InVision.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs are aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Develop responsive web designs that provide optimal user experiences across devices.
- Implement design patterns and best practices for usability and accessibility.
- Utilise front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and React to bring designs to life.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate design effectiveness and gather feedback for improvements.
- Engage in data visualisation and analysis to inform design decisions.
- Maintain information architecture that supports intuitive navigation and enhances the overall user experience.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable design solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design projects.
- Proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and SCSS.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Sketch, Axure, Balsamiq, Adobe Target, and Zeplin.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and product development processes.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data using tools like Google Analytics or SQL for informed decision-making.
- Experience in interaction design, web design principles, usability testing, and responsive web design methodologies.
- Knowledge of AWS services is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
