Job Title: Zero-Hour Delivery Driver (Saturdays & Holiday/Sickness Cover)
Location: Tyne chem NE11 0NJ
Hours: Zero-hour contract – typically Saturdays (3–7 hours) with additional hours to cover holidays and sickness.
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and flexible delivery driver to join our team on a zero-hour basis. The role involves collecting a company van and deliveries from the pharmacy, and completing delivery routes, and returning the van at the end of your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect van and deliveries from pharmacy
- Deliver prescriptions to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Load and unload parcels – heavy lifting is required
- Return van and any remaining items to base at the end of the shift
- Follow all company procedures and maintain excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Good knowledge North East area
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to work independently
- Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and provide cover for holidays and sickness (no guaranteed hours)

This is a zero-hour position. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on cover requirements.
