Next Level Learning - Full-Time and Part-Time Tutors (Bury Area)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Next Level Learning is seeking dedicated full-time and part-time tutors in the Wirral area for face-to-face teaching roles in schools, homes, and tuition centres.
About Us
We specialise in working with Looked After Children (LAC), SEN students, and young people experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Many of our learners are not working at age-related levels, so experience in this field is highly desirable.
We are building a strong, professional, and reliable team in areas such as Wigan, Bolton and Wirral. If you hold a Certificate in Education or higher, and have a passion for working with a variety of learners, we would love for you to join our team!
What We Offer
- Flexible scheduling: Tuition sessions take place during school hours, after school (3–4 pm), and evenings.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality 1:1 and small-group tuition in face-to-face settings.
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learners' needs.
- Maintain regular communication with the office to report attendance and safeguarding concerns.
- Submit weekly written reports for each learner.
- Be punctual, organized, and reliable to uphold our reputation for excellence.
Essential Skills and Criteria
- Possess QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Hold an in-date certificate for Safeguarding Level 1 and Prevent training.
- Be willing to tutor more than one subject.
- Confidently manage time independently and work as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of learners.
- Experience working in alternative provision settings or with 1:1/small groups.
- Hold a clean UK driving licence and have a car insured for business use.
- Have personal resources such as a laptop and communication devices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between professional bodies.
- Knowledge of exams and working bodies is desirable.
Pay and Benefits
