Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage and motivate students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students
- Develop lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support students with special educational needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a formal educational setting
- Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding of their unique learning styles
- Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents
- Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student records effectively

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
